Joanne also studied privately under several successful fine artists on the East Coast. In her creation of abstract, contemporary landscapes, Joanne paints with acrylics, acrylic gel mediums and various pigments including luminescent to produce a unique effect. This enhances her choice of colours, texture and composition. All art materials including paint, paper, canvas and framing materials are acid free which will prevent the art piece from yellowing and deteriorating over time. This will allow the painting to maintain a high quality image over many years. Her enthusiasm for new artistic techniques is constantly evolving, which is evident in her most recent works.
